11-2-4: FINAL PLAT PROCEDURE:
Within one year from the date of planning commission approval of the preliminary plat, the property owner shall submit a final plat for review by the planning commission and approval by the county commissioners. Submission of the final plat must be accompanied by a current title report on the subject property, cost estimates for the installation of all required subdivision improvements, a draft of the surety proposed to be posted to secure installation of the required improvements for review by the county engineer and the county attorney, and all other requirements of subsection 11-2-5C of this chapter. Upon approval of the final plat, but before the plat is released to the property owner for recordation, surety in an amount approved by the county engineer and in a form approved by the county attorney must be posted with the county.
