921.99 PENALTY.

(a) General Penalty. Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, where another penalty is not otherwise provided, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). Each day of a continuing violation shall constitute a separate offense.

(b) Meter Tampering. Whoever violates Section 921.13 shall be prosecuted, as is legally appropriate, for violation of Section 545.19 (a) and (d) of the Codified Ordinances or Ohio R.C. 4933.18 and 4933.99(B).

(c) Taking Fire Hydrant Water Without Lawful Permission. Whoever violates Section 921.19 (b) is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be punished as provided in Section 501.99 of the Codified Ordinances.

(d) Criminal Damaging. Whoever violates Section 921.22 or 921.48 shall be prosecuted, as is legally appropriate, for violation of Section 541.03 of the Codified Ordinances or Ohio R.C. 2909.06.
