(a) For alterations without additional square footage: two inspections, one when wall studding, plumbing and wiring are in place but before the walls are covered and one final inspection upon completion of construction;
(b) For alterations with additional square footage and for new construction: three inspections, one when the foundation excavations are completed but before the foundation is laid, one when wall studdings, plumbing and wiring are in place but before the walls are covered and one final inspection upon completion of construction.
