§ 92.37 REMOVAL OF SIDEWALK RESTRICTED.
   No persons, firm, or corporation shall remove a public sidewalk, or any section thereof, within the corporate limits of the municipality if the sidewalk physically connects with portions of a public sidewalk not so removed or if the sidewalk as measured along the side which is closest to and runs in the same general direction of the street is over 132 feet in length. For purposes of this section, two sidewalks will be deemed to be connected where they both border on a common alley, driveway, or similar right-of-way. Nothing in this section shall prohibit a party to apply for a temporary permit pursuant to § 92.35 for the purpose of obtaining temporary permission to remove all or part of a sidewalk.
