§ 92.27 ABATEMENT PROCEDURE.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for the owner, occupant or person having control or management of any land within the city to permit a public nuisance, health hazard, source of filth, or any of the conditions identified in §§ 92.20 through 92.26 to develop thereon.
   (B)   Except when immediate action is necessary pursuant to § 153.17, if a Code Enforcement Officer believes, based on his or her personal observation or investigation, that a nuisance situation has occurred, the Code Enforcement Officer shall issue a notice of violation pursuant to § 153.09(B). Upon the failure of the owner of the property to abate the nuisance, the Mayor or his or her designee is authorized to send employees upon the property to abate the situation.
   (C)   If the owner, occupant, or person with control or management of the property fails or refuses to abate the nuisance within the time specified in the written notice, the Code Enforcement Officer is authorized to issue a citation pursuant to § 153.09(C).
