§ 92.20 SATELLITE DISH RECEIVING STATIONS.
   (A)   Stations permitted within the city. Dish type satellite television and radio signal receiving stations (hereafter stations), subject to the following regulations, may be located within the city.
   (B)   Permit required. No installation or erection of a station shall commence before a permit is obtained from the zoning administration.
   (C)   Height of stations regulated. The height of the station, should the dish antenna be turned perpendicular to the ground, shall not extend above 15 feet; and the maximum diameter of any dish antenna shall not exceed 12 feet.
   (D)   Placement and location of stations.
      (1)   Stations shall be located in the rear yard, and behind the principal dwelling or structure located on the lot; shall be located so that, however turned or otherwise used, all parts of the station will set back at least 6 feet from the inner side yard lines; and shall be set back from the rear lot line no less than 20 feet or ½ the depth of the rear yard, whichever is greater.
      (2)   Satellite receivers may be located on the roofs of Woodford County Board of Education Schools and public buildings.
   (E)   Off-lot linkage prohibited. Stations shall not be linked to receivers which are not located on the same lot as the station.
