§ 52.17 SURCHARGE ON RATES FOR THIRD-PARTY BILLING.

   (A)   This section shall apply only in the event of purchase of water by the city from non-city-owned sources.

   (B)   In the event the city purchases water from non-city-owned sources, the following rates shall apply to water usage by each customer of the City Water Department:

      (1)   The base water bill for each city water system customer shall be calculated pursuant to § 52.18;

      (2)   There shall be added to the base water bill for each Midway Water Department customer a surcharge;

      (3)   The surcharge amount shall be determined by multiplying the base water bill by the surcharge percentage; and

      (4)   The surcharge percentage shall be determined for each calendar month as follows:

 

Gallons of water from non-city-owned sources
Total gallons of water usage for the city	x 100.
