§ 36.38 CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE OF STATEMENTS OF FINANCIAL INTEREST.
   (A)   The Woodford County Court Clerk shall be the official custodian of the statements of financial interests and shall have control over the maintenance of the statements of financial interests. The statements of financial interests shall be maintained by the Clerk as the custodian, as public documents, available for public inspection and copying immediately upon filing.
   (B)   Upon the expiration of 3 years after a person ceases to be an officer or employee of the city, the County Clerk shall cause to be destroyed any statements of financial interests or copies of those statements filed by the person.
   (C)   The County Clerk shall provide candidates for elected city office with a copy of the financial disclosure statement at the time of his or her filing for office, along with notice that the statement shall be filed within 30 days of the filing deadline.
   (D)   Upon the expiration of 30 days after any election at which a candidate for elected city office was not elected or was eliminated from the ballot for the general election, the County Clerk shall cause to be destroyed any statements of financial interests or copies of those statements filed by the person.
