§ 1452.02 PERMIT REQUIRED; EXEMPTIONS.
   (a)   No person shall install any tanks or containers for the storage of medical gases, or install any pumps, piping, valves, devices or apparatus for the sale handling, conveying, or using of such medical gases without first having obtained a permit therefore from the Chief Building Official as hereinafter provided.
   (b)   A permit is not required for the replacement of any existing piping, valves or fittings that are defective with new ones to be used for the same purpose, provided that the location of the piping, valve or fitting is not concealed or its relative location changed. Otherwise a permit shall be required.
