§ 1452.01 SCOPE OF CHAPTER.

This chapter shall apply to all new equipment and installations of medical gases in health care facilities. Nonflammable piped medical gases covered by this document include, but are not limited to, oxygen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, medical air, carbon dioxide, helium, air vacuum systems and WAGD (waste anesthetic gas disposal).
