§ 1422.04 EXPIRATION AND RENEWAL OF REGISTRATIONS.
   (a)   The registration of each master electrician shall expire on December 31 of each year, but may be renewed by the person holding the same upon application and payment of the renewal fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). Every master electrician, upon each renewal of registration, must present a copy of their active State license and a copy of a certificate of liability insurance verifying insurance in the minimum amount as required by the Ohio Construction Industry Examining Board in accordance with Ohio R.C. 4740.06(B) and listing the City of Middletown as the certificate holder. The application for renewal and the fee shall be filed with the Chief Building Official each year on or after November 1, but before January 1. If the registration has not been renewed on or before December 31 it will expire. The holder of the registration may renew the registration through January of the following year. Payment for renewal must be received in the Building Inspection office by January 31. After January 31, the master electrician must re-register in accordance with Section 1422.01(b) of this chapter.
   (b)   The registration of each electrical journeyman shall expire on December 31 of each year, but may be renewed, without examination, upon payment of the renewal fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). The fee shall be paid to the Chief Building Official each year on or after November 1, but before January 1. If the registration has not been renewed on or before December 31 it will expire. The holder of the registration may renew the registration through January of the following year. Payment for renewal must be received in the Building Inspection office by January 31. After January 31 the electrical journeyman must re-register in accordance with Section 1422.01(c) of this chapter, including all testing requirements.
   (c)   The registration of each electrical apprentice shall expire on December 31 of each year but may be renewed upon payment of the renewal fee of ten dollars ($10.00). The fee shall be paid to the Chief Building Official each year on or after November 1, but before January 1. If the registration has not been renewed on or before December 31 it will expire. The holder of the registration may renew the registration through January of the following year. Payment for renewal must be received in the Building Inspection office by January 31. After January 31 the electrical apprentice must re-register be in accordance with Section 1422.01(d) of this chapter.
