If the person making inspection pursuant to § 1418.08 finds a defect in any work, he or she shall notify the installer to remedy such defect within a stated reasonable number of days. At the end of the specified period such person shall determine if correction has been made and if not so made, he or she shall file the necessary action under the provisions of Chapters 1412 and 1414.
