§ 814.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)   AMUSEMENT DEVICE. Any machine, device or contrivance, including a pinball machine, that permits a game to be played by the insertion of a coin, slug, token, plate or disc, or by the payment of a fee or anything of value, that is operated for amusement only and does not dispense any form of prize, reward or thing of value and does not contain within itself the means to record, or does not in any other manner attempt to record games played.
   (b)   PINBALL MACHINE. A machine, device or contrivance that permits a game to be played by the insertion of a coin, slug, token, plate or disc, or by the payment of a fee or anything of value, the object of which game is to propel any number of balls or marbles onto a board or other surface within the device for the purpose of having such balls or marbles, rolling upon such surface, strike any number of targets thereon or enter any number of slots therein, either of which will register or accumulate a score for the player.
