§ 644.16 PARKING ON PARADE ROUTES.
   (a)   The Chief of Police is hereby authorized, when reasonably necessary, to prohibit or restrict the parking of vehicles along a highway or part thereof constituting a part of the route of a parade. The Chief shall post signs to such effect and no person shall park or leave unattended any vehicle in violation thereof. No person shall be liable for parking on an unposted street.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
