The mission of the Citizen Advisory Board to the Middletown Division of Police is to foster open communication and cooperation among the citizens of the community and the Division of Police. The Board shall advise the Chief of Police on matters of interest between the police and the community. The Board is not intended to be an internal affairs or review board, and shall not advise, comment, interfere, interject or in any other manner become involved in the day-to-day operations of the Division of Police, including disciplinary matters, pending criminal or civil litigation or internal investigations.
