§ 224.09 SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY.
   Personal property not needed for Municipal purposes, the estimated value of which is less than two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), may be sold by the office having supervision or management thereof. If the estimated value of such property exceeds two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), but is less than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), it may be sold by the City Manager or his or her designee without a resolution of City Council in the manner deemed to be the most practical and beneficial to the City. If the estimated value of such property exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), it shall be disposed of only when authorized by a resolution of City Council. Unless the resolution authorizing the sale requires a particular procedure, such property may be disposed of in the manner deemed to be the most practical and beneficial to the City, as determined by the City Manager.
