§ 224.02 DIRECTOR OF FINANCE.
   The Director of Finance shall supervise the general financial policy of the City and the various divisions of the Department of Finance, and shall perform such other duties as may be required from time to time by the City Manager. The Director shall be the chief fiscal officer of the City as defined by State law and shall perform the duties imposed by such law on city auditors. The Director shall be in charge of the preparation and certification of all special assessments for public improvements, the mailing of notices of such assessments to property owners and all other duties connected therewith, the collection of such assessments as are payable directly to the City and the preparation and certification of all unpaid assessments to the County Auditor for collection.
