Sec. 24. Effective date.

This section and section 2 of this act [section 23 of this article] shall take effect upon the passage of this act; and the remainder of this act by a majority of those voting on the question at the financial town meeting prescribed by section 2 hereof. (P.L. 1958, ch. 138, § 3.)
