All licenses granted under the provisions of this subchapter shall expire one year from the date of their issuance. Any license may be suspended or revoked by the Council for any violation or failure to observe the conditions and restrictions of this subchapter, or of any state law pertaining to such business, and in such case no rebate shall be made from the annual license fee.
