(a) In the month of January of each year, the Municipality will pick up Christmas trees belonging to residents, which are placed at the curbside. Said trees must be free of stands, trim and other objects. Trees must not be covered by or contained within plastic bags or other material.
(b) The date on which Christmas trees will be picked up will be selected by the Village Administrator and will be announced in advance and published in a local newspaper of general circulation within the Municipality.
(c) Any Christmas tree placed at the curb for pickup that is rejected for any reason, or any tree placed at the curb for pickup after the scheduled date for pickup, must be removed from the tree lawn by the resident within forty-eight hours after the date of the scheduled pickup.
