With the license application required by Section 840.03, the applicant shall pay the following as the annual license fee for the fiscal year ending April 30 of each year. The annual license fee shall be a minimum of fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first acre or fraction thereof, plus two dollars ($2.00) for each additional acre or fraction thereof, which shall be required for each place at which the applicant maintains a junk or salvaged material yard or shop. The license fee shall not be prorated. The license fee shall be applicable to all new licenses and to all existing licenses on the date of renewal.
