The city shall charge an impound fee for each day or portion thereof that a vehicle is impounded or stored in the police impound lot. The vehicle shall not be returned or released to the owner until all impound, towing and additionally incurred expenses and fees are paid. The vehicle impoundment fees are hereby established at a daily rate of $8. All impound fees will be deposited into the Special Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
