§ 32.020 ESTABLISHMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSION.
   In order that adequate provisions be made for the preparation of a comprehensive city plan for the guidance, direction, and control of the growth and development of the city, a Planning Commission, which shall be a department of the city government, is created under authority of ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 11-12-4 et seq.
