§ 53.18 WATERWORKS SYSTEM RATES OF CHARGE FOR NON-METERED USERS.
   (A)   The rates of charge for use of the city waterworks system for non-metered customers shall be based on equivalent residential units (ERU). An EQUIVALENT RESIDENTIAL UNIT (ERU) shall be defined as a unit of water that incurs the same costs for operation and maintenance as the average volume of water drawn or used by a single-family residence from the waterworks treatment and distribution system of the city. All single-family dwellings shall be charged at the rate applicable to one ERU.
   (B)   The schedule of equivalent residential units to be assigned to non-metered, commercial, industrial, and non-commercial or multi-family residential customers is attached to Ord. 2009-20 as Exhibit A, which is available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk during normal business hours. No entity shall be charged less than one ERU.
   (C)   The monthly rate of charge to each customer of the city waterworks system per ERU is hereby established in accordance with the rate schedule that is attached to Ord. 2009-20 as Exhibit B, which is available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk during normal business hours.
