Excavations for installing sewer laterals or repairing the same shall be the responsibility of the owner/user and shall be in compliance with all local, state and federal requirements including but not limited to OSHA, Standard Specification for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois and the city’s adopted model building code.
