§ 31.029 EXECUTION OF BOND.
   The Mayor, before entering upon the duties of his or her office, shall execute a bond to the city in at least the minimum amount required by ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 3.1-10-30, with such sureties as the City Council shall approve, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of his or her office.
