(A) It shall be unlawful to conduct or operate any amusement which is open to the public and for which a fee is charged for admission thereto, without having first secured a license therefor, provided the provisions of this section shall not be held to apply to those amusements which are specifically licensed by any other chapters of this code.
(B) Application for such licenses shall be made to the City Clerk and shall comply with all of the general provisions of the ordinances relating to such application. For such licenses, the following fees shall be paid:
(1) Circuses: $50 per day;
(2) Menageries: $10 per day;
(3) Carnivals: by special vote of Council; and
(4) Other amusements: $10 per day.
