§ 97.02 UNLAWFUL TO HAVE AN INOPERABLE MOTOR VEHICLE ON CERTAIN PROPERTY.
   It shall be unlawful for a person to have an inoperable motor vehicle in view of the general public within the city limits on property in his or her control or occupied by that person for a period in excess of ten days after issuance and service of a written warning notice of violation of this section of this chapter by a city police officer on the person having control or occupying property on which is located an inoperable motor vehicle. If such person can not be located, then the warning notice may be placed on the inoperable
motor vehicle and at a principal means of access to the property on which the inoperable motor vehicle is located. The placement of the written notice shall constitute service.
