§ 30.15 MAYOR TO APPOINT.
   (A)   The chairperson and members of all ad hoc committees and standing committees shall be appointed and may be removed by the Mayor, at his or her convenience. The standing committees and their composition are as follows:
      (1)   Water, Light, and Street Committee, to be composed of one member from each ward;
      (2)   Local Improvements and Industrial/ Commercial Committee, to be composed of one member from each ward;
      (3)   Claim Committee, to be composed of not less than three members of the City Council;
      (4)   Finance Committee, to be composed of not less than three members of the City Council;
      (5)   Ordinance Committee, to be composed of not less than three members of the City Council;
      (6)   Police and Fire Committee, to be composed of not less than three members of the City Council;
      (7)   Park and Recreation Committee, to be composed of not less than three members of the City Council;
      (8)   Condemned Building Committee, to be composed of not less than three members of the City Council; and
      (9)   Environmental Issues Committee, to be composed of not less than three members of the City Council;

   (B)   Each chairperson may appoint subcommittees.
