The Metropolis Vehicle Code may henceforth be referred to and cited as M.V.C. Any citation to a provision of the Metropolis Vehicle Code may be made by reference to M.V.C. followed by the appropriate enumeration of the chapter and section set forth in the Illinois Vehicle Code (for example, M.V.C. Act 5, § 1-100 would refer to a equivalent provision in the Illinois Vehicle Code designated as ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 1-100).
