§ 50.05 INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL APPARATUS.
   (A)   The installation of any wires, electrical apparatus, or equipment not specifically covered by this section shall be in conformity with the requirements of the Fire Underwriters and the Standard Electrical Code and shall not be installed except by a special written permit issued by the Light Superintendent and he or she shall not issue the permit until plans and specifications are first submitted and approved by him or her.
   (B)   In all wiring, special attention shall be paid to the mechanical execution of the work. Careful and neat running, connecting, soldering, tapping of conductors, and securing and attaching of fittings are especially conducive to security and efficiency, and will be strongly insisted on.
   (C)   In laying out an installation, every reasonable effort should be made to secure distribution centers located in easily accessible places, at which points the cutouts and switches can be placed for convenience and safety of operation.
