The County Sheriff and ex officio County Collector is required and directed to pay the City Treasury on the first day of each and every month all monies in his or her hands, or in his or her possession, or under his or her control, by virtue of delinquent special assessments certified to the County Sheriff and ex officio County Collector by the City Collector.
