§ 34.12 POWER TO SEARCH PREMISES FOR NONCOMPLIANCE WITH CITY CONSTRUCTION REGULATIONS.
   The Chief of the Fire Department and his or her assistants are empowered to, at a reasonable time and upon reasonable notice, enter any building, structure or premises, whether completed or in the course of construction, for the purpose of determining whether the same has been or is being constructed and maintained in accordance with the applicable provisions of this code and any other ordinance of the city, and it shall be unlawful, after reasonable notice has been given, to exclude them from any such building, structure or premises.
