Each member of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall hold office for five years from the date of his appointment, and until his successor has been selected and qualified. With the advice and consent of the Council, the mayor may remove any member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for cause, after a public hearing. Vacancies on the Board shall be filled for the unexpired term of the member whose place has become vacant in the same manner as provided for the appointment of new members.
