Any unpaid sum of money against the property or owner accrued in abating or removing "nuisances", as provided in section 3-1-2 of this chapter, is a claim against the property and may be recovered in an action in any court of competent jurisdiction. The amount recovered shall be disbursed to pay the expenses of abating or removing the nuisance and court costs. (Ord. 11, 8-16-1984)
