(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) hereof, whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense and shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00); on a second and each subsequent offense, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both.
(b) Whoever violates or fails to comply with Section 1060.02(f) is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree on a first offense and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both; on a second and each subsequent offense, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than 60 days, or both.
