The following rules and regulations, as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Board, are hereby adopted and declared by Council to be law for all City parks.
(a) Parks shall be open daily from sunrise to darkness. This time period may be extended if a permit therefor is obtained from the Board or its designated representative.
(b) No person shall be within the confines of any City park at any time other than those times during which it is open as provided in subsection (a) hereof.
(c) (1) No person shall have a bicycle, minibike within any park unless such park contains a designated bicycle trail or path, and then only upon such path.
(2) No person shall bring to a park any pets, except domestic dogs or cats which must be controlled at all times and secured to a leash not more than six feet in length.
(3) Persons must remove feces deposited in a park by any pets in their control.
(d) No person shall have alcoholic beverages of any kind in any park without first having obtained a special permit therefor from the Board or its designated representative.
(e) No person shall have a motorcycle, car or other motor vehicle, other than a City vehicle, in any park.
(f) No person desiring the use of City park property for a specific event shall fail to obtain a special permit therefor from the Board or its designated representative.
