670.35   SKIN DIVING AREAS.
   (a)   No person shall skin dive in City waters, except within a distance of 50 feet from the shore or pier not within any channel or passageway ordinarily used by watercraft. Skin diving and scuba diving may be permitted in other areas when the diver is accompanied by an occupied watercraft and the area in which he is diving is marked by an adequately displayed diver's flag. The operator of the watercraft shall yield the right-of- way to skin and scuba divers and not approach to within 200 feet of such diver's flag. No such diver shall surface further than 50 feet from such diver's flag. The diver's flag referred to an this section shall be such as described in Section 670.01.

   (b)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
