250.07   BEREAVEMENT LEAVE.
   (a)   Each full-time employee shall be granted bereavement leave and shall be paid for bereavement leave of up to four regularly scheduled workdays as is set forth herein for the death of an immediate family member. For the purpose of this section, "immediate family" is defined as: parent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, spouse, domestic partner, sibling, brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their spouses, child, stepchild, stepparent, grandparent (of employee), grandchild; a domestic partner's child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepparent, and sibling and the sibling's spouse related either by blood or marriage to the employee. Such bereavement leave shall be in addition to sick leave. Additional bereavement leave for an immediate family member may be granted by the Mayor, upon request of the employee, and shall be deducted from the employee's accrued sick leave.
   (b)   In addition to the bereavement leave set forth in division (a) of this section, each full-time employee shall be granted bereavement leave and shall be paid for bereavement leave for one day for the attendance at the funeral or memorial of the death of the full-time employee's aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew.
