Council, through its CD Committee and under the provisions of the City Charter, as amended, shall continue to review and monitor the Community Block Grant Development Program as follows:
(a) Council shall, with the assistance of the Finance Committee, review and approve the budget presented and appropriate funds for and within the Program.
(b) All subsequent applications related to the extension, expansion or modification of the Program shall be presented to Council through the Committee.
(c) Monthly reports and Informational summaries on any and all activities related to the Program shall be presented to Council through the Committee.
(d) All contracts and purchases related to the Program shall be submitted to Council for review and approval in accordance with Article VIII of the City Charter, as amended.
(e) Council shall approve rules and regulations for the administration of the Department of Community Development.
