Each elective officer of the Municipality shall be a qualified elector of the Municipality and shall continue to reside within the Municipality and within their election district during his or her tenure. He or she may hold other public employment provided it is compatible with his or her elective office in the Municipality. In no event, however, shall an elective officer of the Municipality hold public employment with the City of Mentor-on-the-Lake.
