Every appointee to a board or commission after January 1, 1967 shall be a qualified elector and resident of Mentor-on-the-Lake, for two (2) years prior to his or her appointment. A vacancy occurring during the term of any member of a board or commission shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner authorized for an original appointment by this Charter.
