2-9-12: AUTHORITY OF CITY FORESTER TO ENTER PRIVATE PREMISES:
The City Forester or their representatives, after giving advance notice of not less than five (5) days to the owner or tenant having charge, may apply for a special inspection warrant if the City Forester receives no response from the owner or tenant in charge. After obtaining the special inspection warrant, the City Forester or their representative shall have the authority to enter upon private premises at reasonable times for the purposes of examining or inspecting any suspected nuisance tree or shrub. All nuisance trees and shrubs to be removed under the provision of 2-9-6(B) may be appropriately marked by the City Forester. (Ord. 2023-11, 4-3-2023)
