GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 151.01 TITLE.
   This chapter shall be known as the Zoning Chapter of Menahga and is referred to herein as “this chapter.”

§ 151.02 SCOPE AND INTERPRETATION.
   (A)   Scope. From and after the effective date of this chapter, the use of all land and every building and the erection or structure alteration of any building, or portion of a building in the city shall be in conformity with the provisions of this chapter. Any structure or use lawfully existing at the passage of this chapter, but not in conformity with the regulations of the appropriate zoning district may be continued subject to the regulations of this chapter.
   (B)   Interpretation. The provisions of this chapter shall be interpreted as the minimum requirements for the promotion of the public health, safety, morals, convenience and general welfare. Where the provisions of this chapter impose greater restrictions than those of any statutes, other ordinances or regulations, this chapter shall apply. Where the provision of any statutes, ordinances or regulations impose greater restrictions than this chapter, those restrictions shall apply.
