§ 7.4.17 GENERAL REGULATIONS AND EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a bicycle in the City in violation of the registration requirements of this subchapter.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful to operate a bicycle within the City without the owner's consent.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful to operate a bicycle within the City in violation of Wisconsin State Statutes, including but not limited to:
      (1)   Wisconsin Statutes § 347.489, "Lamps and Other Equipment on Bicycles and Motor Bicycles."
      (2)   Those sections of Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 346, "Rules of the Road," which are applicable to bicycles.
   (D)   Operating a bicycle on the sidewalk or pedestrian way on the following streets, in what is considered the Downtown Business District, is prohibited:
      (1)   All of State Street.
      (2)   All of Division Street.
      (3)   All of South Main Street.
      (4)   All of South Wisconsin Avenue.
      (5)   Whelen Avenue from its intersection with Broadway Avenue to its intersection with Perkins Street.
