It shall be unlawful for any person subject to the provisions of this subchapter to transfer or cause to be transferred from one motor vehicle to another, any motor vehicle sticker issued pursuant to the provisions of this subchapter; provided, however, should a vehicle be sold or transferred, the sticker shall remain with the vehicle and shall be valid until the vehicle is required by law to be re-registered.
