As to each purchase, the dealer shall enter into the database the following information:
(A) The date of each purchase;
(B) The name, address, date of birth, race, sex and operator’s license or state photo identification number of each seller;
(C) If the person providing the property is not the seller, the name, address, date of birth, race, sex and operator’s license or state photo identification number of such person;
(D) A detailed description of the property purchased, including, where appropriate, the make, model, and serial number, the size, color as apparent to the untrained eye, not applicable to diamonds, the precious metal type, content and weight, if indicated, gemstone description, including the number of stones, and any other unique identifying marks, numbers, names, or letters;
(E) A dealer shall be considered in compliance with the provisions of this section if he or she describes the items with broad descriptions, such as three gold rings, two sets of diamond earrings, four silver bracelets, etc. and documents the items purchased with a high-resolution digital photograph loaded into the database clearly depicting the items in such detail to make a verbal description redundant. In all cases, any serial numbered items must specifically be entered into the database;
(F) Any information readily apparent through visual observation that would assist law enforcement in identifying potential stolen merchandise through comparison with stolen merchandise reports.
