§ 30.03 DISTRICTS FOR FISCAL COURT, JUSTICE OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLE.
   (A)   Purpose. The purpose of this section is to establish district lines for the offices of Fiscal Court Commissioner, Justice of the Peace and Constables.
   (B)   Reapportionment Committee meeting and report. At 1:00 p.m., on July 13, 2023, the Reapportionment Committee convened a meeting and examined population data from the 2023 census. The Reapportionment Committee, having considered the census data, has filed a report with the County Clerk and Fiscal Court recommending district boundaries. The districts are laid out in a manner to comply with applicable law. A copy of the report, along with a map and district descriptions, are attached to and made part of this section.
   (C)   Fiscal Court findings and creation of districts. The County Fiscal County makes the following findings.
      (1)   There shall be three districts, labeled “District 1,” “District 2” and “District 3.”
      (2)   The districts are compact and contiguous.
      (3)   The district populations, derived from 2023 census data, are nearly equal as is reasonably possible:
         (a)   District 1: 22,227;
         (b)   District 2: 22,996; and
         (c)   District 3: 22,652.
      (4)   A copy of the reapportionment map along with the district description is adopted by reference and made part of this section.
