(A) Occupancy classifications. “A” = Assembly; “B” = Business; “E” = Education; “F” = Factory and Industrial; “M” = Mercantile; “R” = Residential; “S” = Storage; and “U” = Utility.
(B) Building plan review and inspection fees. Building plan review and inspection fees shall be in accordance with divisions (B)(1) through (B)(10) below. The total square footage shall be determined by the outside dimensions of the building.
(1) Fee for use groups A, B, E, M and R shall be $0.15 per square foot for first floor at or above grade and $0.10 per square foot for other floor areas, with a $150 minimum.
(2) Fee for use groups F, S and U shall be $0.10 per square foot for all floor areas with a $150 minimum.
(3) Fee for remodel, alteration or work not otherwise covered by any use group shall be according to construction cost with a minimum fee of $60 for up to and including $5,000 of construction cost, plus $4 for each additional $1,000 of construction cost or fractional part thereof.
(4) A fee of $50 shall be charged for permits on buildings that are under the jurisdiction of the State Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction.
(5) Fee for residential accessory structure (not greater than 3,000 square feet and located on same lot) shall be $0.10 per square foot with a $60 minimum.
(6) The fee for building shell only shall be $0.10 per square foot.
(7) The fee for buildings with multiple or mixed occupancies shall be calculated using the cost per square foot multiplier of the predominate use.
(8) The fee for in-ground swimming pools shall be $75.
(9) The fee for demolition/wrecking/razing of existing structure(s) shall be $50.
(10) The McCracken County Inspection Department is hereby authorized to set a reasonable inspection fee for any other use or special inspection not specifically covered herein.
