The Building Official shall be designated as the local enforcement agent for said State Building Code and the State Residential Code. All building code inspections shall be performed by persons certified by the State Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction. All electrical inspections shall be performed by a certified electrical inspector specifically approved by this jurisdiction.
